So, I won’t be returning to Vegas anytime soon.

I just got back last night and I’m still recovering and destressing from 3 days of absolute craziness.

The hotel:

We stayed at the Bellagio. It’s amazing as everyone says it is. The service is awesome,everyone is super friendly and attentive. They get what you ask for right away and ask if you need anything else. The maids gave us like a bag of the Bellagio pillow chocolate and everything was just luxurious. I FIT IN THE BATHTUB!!! Legs fully extended, a major highlight. The pools were amazing with Ancient classicizing architecture. The Bellagio buffet, although pricey, was worth it. De Neve times 7568493. ALl you can eat crab, fish, lobster, sushi, kobe beef, prime rib, desserts, it was the BOMB A+ hotel.

The incident:

So, within the very first 12 hours of my first trip to Vegas with family was met with my near arrest. I had obviously had a drink that night and then sat in a restaurant waiting room waiting to get 6.99 steak and eggs around midnight. Casino manager and security stopped our group and asked us about drinking and the drinks that others had. They carded us and talk us to the detention room where we waited for 1.5 hours before the police came. They asked us about drinking, told them the truth, cause if they breathalized us, things would have gotten worse. Got a ticket and a court date. Being out of state and students and a minor citation, we have to call and they just arrange a fine payment. Soooooo ya, oh forgot to mention, fyi I am banned from these hotels/casinos for life with threat of misdemeanor arrest.

5 Pet Peeves:

1. My first would be ignorance, but to me, pet peeves are something that I find super annoying that usually aren’t as annoying to other people, and since most people aren’t fans of being ignorant, I digress.

1. Slow talkers and slow walkers, slow talkers are much worse

2. Any day above 80 degrees and I’m not at the pool or the beach, I HAAATE sweating in not-workout clothes

3. People who don’t hold silverware properly or cut their food right,

Weird, I know. But that’s what happens when your parents yell at you for using the shrimp fork with salad or having too many fingers on your spoon. Thanks psychological scarring.

4. iPhones and Droids. I know, I’m sorry. I find them pointless. I know many of you love them, you would think I would, I love new shiny electronic gadgets. I just don’t need my phone to be a computer to check my email or do whatever so I make myself busy when I’m away from my cpu.

5. When guys don’t match their shoes with their belts, COME ON!!!

1. SUSHI!!!! specifically Salmon nagiri

2. Mongolian BBQ

3. Prime Rib in some garlic mushroom cream sauce, garlic mashed potatoes,

4. Boursin, it a herb/chive cheese from France that you spread on baguette toast

5. Crepes!! Crepes Carbonara from La Creperie in Long Beach…its a crepe with chicken, bacon, mozzarella, and pesto!!!

hmmmm, I have weird taste….o welll. I’m hungry and getting Late Night

5 facts about yourself:

1. I shattered my right ring finger as a kid and have a metal rod in it.

2. I have broken my nose 4 times all by kicks to the face in waterpolo games.

3. I bumped into (literally fell into) Zac Effron at the after party of HSM 2 premiere at the Kodak.

4. I almost tried out for the 2nd generation of All That! when they had open auditions…glad I didn’t

5. I can fit my whole fist in my mouth, wanna see? jk, I wish. Really though, I have never seen any of the Star Wars or Lord of the Rings.

Return to Tumblr Part 1

So this is the more boring return to tumblr, I have a project in the works for next week that should be exciting.

New life decision made and it feels good. I changed majors and dropped the pre-med act, I’m nowwwwww…a Biological Anthropologist. I’m loving it, I’m so excited for my class on Paleopathology next quarter and many other cool upper divs.

What am I going to do with that? Besides having a t.v. show co-starring with D.Boreanaz, I’m thinking about going to Public Health school and getting my doctorate in epidemiology or infection control and working with the CDC or working with the FBI on bioterrorism. Or going to UCSF or BU and getting my PhD in forensic anthropology and working with fed law enforcement.

So yayyy. Life is soooooo much better. I just finished all my finals and its 1.5 hours until I end my teenage life and become fully mature……………womp womp
